Key Responsibilities
- Operate trucks to transport goods to designated locations.
- Load and unload cargo when required.
- Inspect vehicles before and after trips to ensure safety and roadworthiness.
- Follow assigned routes and delivery schedules.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel usage, and hours worked.
- Comply with traffic laws, safety regulations, and company procedures.
- Report vehicle maintenance issues, accidents, or delays promptly
- Secure cargo properly to prevent damage during transit.
- Communicate with dispatchers, customers, and warehouse personnel as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Driver's License F.
- Clean driving record.
- Knowledge of transportation regulations and road safety practices.
- Ability to operate heavy vehicles safely.
- Good communication and time-management skills.
- Physical ability to load, unload, and inspect cargo when necessary.
