Job summary

The Rider is the company's order desk on a motorcycle. At the customer's door you do alone what a Shop Attendant does at the counter: verify the customer, inspect the garments, create the order, collect payment, and take custody of the property. There is no colleague beside you to catch an error. From pickup to plant handover every garment is in your custody alone, and every difference found at the plant is yours to explain.

Job descriptions & requirements

Key Responsibilities

Vehicle Readiness and Safety
  • Inspect the motorcycle every day before use: brakes, fuel, oil, insurance, roadworthiness, and servicing status. Submit the daily vehicle condition report.
  • Ride safely and obey all road traffic laws at all times. An accident risks lives, garments, and the company's name.
Pickup Execution
  • Follow the pickup schedule from customer service and navigate using the Clean Cloud Driver's App. A missed pickup is a customer kept waiting at their own door.
  • Verify every customer's information. Every new customer must sign the terms and conditions before their first order is accepted. Collect any required waivers. No signature, no order. An unsigned terms and conditions removes the company's protection.
Order Creation and Garment Inspection
  • Create and update pickup orders accurately in the Clean Cloud POS: garment details, quantities, due dates, payment methods, delivery schedules. The order you create is the instruction every station after you follows.
  • CRITICAL DUTY: Inspect every garment with the customer present, before you accept it. Stains, tears, missing buttons, fabric damage, anything unusual. Tell the customer what you find. Record it in the system before you leave. This is the only moment the customer can confirm their garment's condition. Damage not recorded at this moment becomes damage the company pays for. There is no second chance to document it.
  • Record special care instructions and save permanent preferences to the customer's profile. An instruction not recorded is an instruction the plant cannot follow.
  • Select the correct turnaround times, notification settings, and garment release or waiver forms. A wrong selection here becomes a missed deadline or an unprotected release.
Payments and Documentation
  • CRITICAL DUTY: Collect payments where applicable and issue receipts. You are personally accountable for all cash and mobile money you collect. Reconcile it against Clean Cloud records every day. The money and the records must match. Unexplained differences are treated as a serious matter under your contract.
  • Make sure every laundry bag is properly identified with the correct documentation. A bag without documentation is an order without an owner.
Plant Handover
  • Update pickup status in the Clean Cloud Driver's App and transfer orders to Plant Mode for processing.
  • Deliver collected garments to the plant and present them for plant verification of counts against the Clean Cloud system. Assist with accurate tagging. Make sure customer instructions reach plant staff clearly. Pickup counts are recorded with the customer present. Plant counts are verified by the plant. Any difference between the two happened in your custody.
Coordination and Reporting
  • Coordinate with customer service and plant staff on express orders and schedule or address clarifications. Delay in passing information becomes delay the customer feels.
  • Record every compliment and complaint. Submit the daily feedback report. No report, no visibility; no visibility, no correction.
Garment Vigilance
  • CRITICAL DUTY: Every time you touch a garment, check it. At pickup, in your custody, at plant handover. Report and record every problem immediately, before the garment moves on. Never pass a garment forward with a problem you saw but did not record. A problem caught at your station is cheap. The same problem caught by the customer costs the company money and reputation. A problem that passes through your hands unrecorded and is found later counts as your failure.

Key Performance Indicators
Your performance is measured against these standards. They are conditions of the role, not targets.
  • Vehicle report. Submit the vehicle condition report every working day. Zero missed reports.
  • Pickup schedule. Zero missed or late pickups caused by your planning or conduct.
  • Intake accuracy. Zero customer disputes over unrecorded imperfections. Every dispute traceable to your doorstep intake is your failure.
  • Complete records. Zero missing profiles, instructions, waivers, or Plant Mode transfers in Clean Cloud.
  • Custody integrity. Zero unexplained differences between pickup counts and plant verification counts.
  • Cash accuracy. Zero unexplained differences between money collected and Clean Cloud records. This standard is absolute.
  • Daily reporting. Zero missed feedback reports.
  • Road safety. Zero at-fault road incidents.
  • Vigilance. Zero garment problems discovered downstream or by customers where the problem was visible while the garment was with you. "I did not see it "is not a defense when the problem was there to be seen.
