Job summary
We are seeking a dependable and professional Company Driver to support the transport and logistical needs of the organization. The ideal candidate will have a clean driving record, sound knowledge of DVLA rules and regulations, and a strong commitment to safety, discretion, and reliability. The candidate will be responsible for safely transporting staff and key stakeholders, running time-sensitive errands, and maintaining the company vehicle to the highest standard

Key Responsibilities
Transportation and Logistical Support:
- Operate company vehicles in a safe, courteous, and highly professional manner, strictly adhering to all Ghanaian traffic laws and internal company policies.
- Provide timely and efficient transport services for executives, staff, and visitors to meetings, client sites, banks, and other business locations.
- Support operational units by running time-sensitive errands, delivering vital documents.
- Plan and execute the most efficient and time-saving routes for all journeys, optimizing fuel consumption and minimizing delays.
Vehicle Maintenance and Readiness:
- Maintain the company vehicle in excellent operational condition through regular cleaning and scheduling of necessary servicing, repairs, and annual inspections.
- Perform and document mandatory daily vehicle checks on essential components (oil, fuel, water, tires, brakes, lights) to ensure maximum safety and reliability.
- Promptly report any mechanical faults, accidents, or damage to the supervisor and coordinate with approved vendors for timely and quality repairs.
- Maintain accurate, complete, and up-to-date logbooks recording all trips, fuel consumption, mileage, maintenance schedules, and repair history.
Professionalism and Compliance:
- Exercise discretion and maintain strict confidentiality regarding all conversations, documents, and individuals transported.
- Ensure all vehicle documents, insurance, roadworthy certificates, and licenses are valid and renewed ahead of expiration.
- Ensure full compliance with DVLA rules and regulations, including licence categories, endorsements, medical fitness-to-drive standards, and roadworthiness requirements.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of professional driving experience, preferably in a corporate or executive driving role.
- Education: Minimum of a Senior High School Certificate (SHS/WASSCE). Additional certification in defensive driving is an advantage.
- Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of DVLA rules and regulations, Ghanaian traffic laws, and vehicle roadworthiness requirements.
Skills:
- A valid Ghanaian driving licence with a clean driving record.
- Excellent knowledge of local and regional roads and routes.
