Video Editor

Position Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and talented Video Editor to join our team. This is a remote position based in Ghana. Applicants must be located in Ghana. The ideal candidate is   passionate about creating videos for the beauty and fashion industry, possesses a creative flair, and has a proven track record of successfully editing videos / creating content. As a Video Editor at Braids By Dili Inc. you will play a key role in creating compelling and engaging contents, driving audience retention through content and visuals on our various social media platforms - Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube. You will be responsible for creating original text, and video content. As a Video Editor, we expect you to be up-to-date with the latest digital technologies, and video editing software, and possess up to date hardware(new model laptop, external hard drive, unlimited internet) necessary to perform your role. You should have excellent communication skills and be able to express our company’s braiding expertise creatively. Ultimately, you should be able to handle our content creation ensuring high levels of web traffic, content engagement, and subsequently drive monetization of our social media platform through engaging hair content.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and Edit engaging and visually appealing content for our social media channels (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube etc.).
• Showcase our braiding expertise, latest trends, create hair tutorials / content to captivate our audience on our various social media channels - especially YouTube.
• Add voice overs on hair tutorial videos as needed for our various social media channels - especially YouTube.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Video Editor or similar role.
• In-depth knowledge of video editing / content creation trends.
• Excellent photography and video editing skills.
• Basic Knowledge about hair braiding.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Creative mindset with the ability to think outside the box.
• Familiarity with beauty and fashion industry trends.
