Job Summary
To support ICF’s dynamic growth and expanding client base, we are seeking a Senior Technical Project Manager to work in our Health Science Portfolio. The portfolio at large comprises multi-disciplinary teams providing toxicology, hazard assessment, epidemiology, risk assessment, exposure assessment, environmental modeling, and related support to our clients addressing the full spectrum of potentially hazardous agents, including chemicals and microbes.

Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Provide management oversight to multiple projects concurrently involving quantitative analyses and qualitative evaluations reported in toxicological studies
- Ensure ultimate success of projects, including quality and client satisfaction, and that all contractual and financial requirements are met
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, communicating with clients regularly regarding project status, technical issues, deliverables, and follow-on work
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget
- Continually assess and improve the efficiency and quality of project work through design and implementation of processes and tools in support of the project team’s efforts
- Participate in supervising, mentoring, and developing junior- to mid-level staff
- Oversee the completion and accuracy of budgets, work plans, invoices, and other contract-related tasks
Basic Qualifications:
- Advanced degree (Masters or Ph.D.) in public health, toxicology, pharmacology, biochemistry, molecular biology, or related subject with focus on human health exposure, hazard, and risk assessment
- Minimum 20 years of professional experience working in human-health related consulting services or research
- Experience with government programs (preferably CDC, ATSDR, U.S. EPA or NIEHS)
- Experience with project management and staff leadership
- Demonstrated ability to formulate and execute technical approaches to solving scientific questions
