The Senior Marketing Officer is responsible for driving corporate and B2B revenue growth for the optical firm through strategic prospecting, relationship management, and conversion of institutional and corporate clients. The role is heavily field-oriented and focused on direct revenue generation, corporate account acquisition, and branch traffic growth, rather than desk-based marketing coordination.

Key Responsibilities
Corporate & B2B Business Development
- Identify, target, and acquire corporate clients, institutions, NGOs, schools, and industrial organizations
- Lead structured corporate sales presentations and negotiations
- Convert prospects into long-term corporate accounts for optical services (eye tests, corporate eyewear packages, screening programs)
Relationship Management
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with HR managers, procurement teams, and decision- makers in corporate organizations
- Manage key accounts to ensure repeat business and contract renewals
- Act as the primary liaison between corporate clients and internal service delivery teams
Field Execution & Market Activation
- Conduct regular field visits across assigned industrial, institutional, and corporate clusters
- Organize and execute corporate eye screening campaigns and outreach programs
- Represent the company at trade fairs, corporate events, and community engagements
Revenue Generation & Target Delivery
- Achieve clearly defined revenue targets tied to: Corporate acquisitions
- Corporate eye screening conversions
- Branch referral traffic from institutional clients
- Drive measurable contribution to branch-level sales performance
Market Intelligence & Growth Strategy
- Identify new market opportunities within assigned geographic zones
- Provide feedback on competitor activity and market trends
- Recommend strategies to improve conversion rates and corporate penetration
Internal Collaboration
- Work closely with optometrists, branch supervisors, and sales teams to ensure seamless service delivery to corporate clients
- Coordinate with operations to ensure corporate engagements are properly executed and followed through
Qualification & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
- Master’s Degree is an advantage.
- Minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience in marketing, preferably in retail, healthcare, or optical industry.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing and branding.
- Experience in B2B marketing and corporate relationship management.
- Good understanding of customer engagement and sales support strategies.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
