Security Supervisor

Key responsibilities:

• Oversee security operations including patrolling school grounds, monitoring entrances/exits, and maintaining a visible security presence to protect students, staff, and visitors.
• Supervise and manage the daily activities of all school security personnel, ensuring effective coverage and adherence to school security protocols
• Develop, implement, and update safety procedures and emergency response plans, ensuring all security staff are trained and compliant.
• Conduct regular security audits and inspections of security equipment (CCTV, alarms, access control), promptly addressing any issues.
• Maintain detailed records of security incidents and prepare timely reports for school management.
• Lead and coordinate responses to emergencies, collaborating with local law enforcement and emergency services as needed.

Qualifications & Skills

• HND required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Proven experience in security supervision, preferably in a school or educational setting.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent understanding of school security procedures, emergency response, and safety standards.
• Effective communicator with strong writing and reporting skills.
• Ability to remain calm and decisive in high-pressure situations.
