Job Description/Requirements
Tasks:
- Design, develop, and maintain ETL data pipelines using SAS tools and frameworks.
- Work extensively with SAS Enterprise Guide (EG), SAS Data Integration (DI), and SAS Management Console (MC) to manage and optimize data processes.Develop and maintain SAS Macros for efficient data processing and automation.
- Utilize SAS LSF for job scheduling and process automation.Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to ensure data is available, clean, and ready for analysis.
- Integrate Python libraries (NumPy, Pandas, PySpark) for advanced data manipulation and processing.
- Troubleshoot and optimize existing data pipelines to improve performance and efficiency.
- Ensure data integrity and compliance with company and industry standards.Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in SAS and Python, and bring innovative ideas to the team.
Requirements:
- Proven experience with SAS tools: SAS Enterprise Guide (EG), SAS Data Integration (DI), SAS Management Console (MC), SAS Macros, and SAS LSF.
- Exposure to Python, particularly in using libraries such as NumPy, Pandas, and PySpark.
- Solid understanding of ETL processes and experience in designing and implementing data pipelines.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex data issues.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Certification related to SAS (e.g., SAS Certified Base Programmer, SAS Certified Advanced Programmer, or other relevant certifications.]
