Production Officer

Responsibilities

• Assign task(s) to all Supervisor(s) and Operative(s) under you, evaluate their work at regular time intervals and offer feedbacks where appropriate.
• You will also be required to appraise the performance of all staff under you on half-yearly basis.
• To liaise with the Maintenance Department in the area of equipment, devices and accessories management and handling to ensure that they remain in good working condition.
• To enforce complete adherence to Production Schedules, Standard Operating Procedures, Work Instructions and other similar programs by all staff under your area of operation.
• To guide all personnel working under you to be well behaved, disciplined and fully compliant with all company rules and regulations including the staff code of conduct.
• To keep the working environment safe and hygienic. To ensure proper gowning for all staff working under you in accordance to cGMP principles.
• To generate and fully complete in real time all documentations related to your work. To regularly review all Production records and keep them up-to-date.
• To train all personnel working under you in job specific areas as well as in general concepts of pharmaceutical manufacturing.
• You would also support in the training and general education of students on internship attachment and educational tour of our facility.
• To carry out any other lawful task(s) that may be assigned to you by your supervisor(s) Production Manager(s) from time to time.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of First Degree in any academic Discipline applicable to the Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Industry.
• Professional: You shall be required to be a strict adherent to cGMP principles and comply with all Human Resource policies governing your work.
• Knowledge: You must be sufficiently knowledgeable in all Technical, Administrative and basic Human Resource concepts relating to the specific area of work assigned to you.
• Work Experience : You must a minimum of three (3) years work experience in a similar role.

• You must have good interpersonal relationship with both superiors and subordinates
• You must possess excellent communication skills in both verbal and written English.
• You must exhibit high level of maturity and good leadership skills
