Purpose of the Post:

The BCI Project Implementation Assistant will support the rollout of the Academic Skills and Digital Learning Platform across secondary schools, universities, and youth groups in Ghana. The role involves delivering school presentations, engaging students and educators, onboarding users to the digital platform, collecting feedback, and supporting overall project implementation activities.

This position is ideal for proactive young professionals with an interest in education, youth development, digital learning, or project delivery. Previous experience supporting school outreach, youth programmes, or digital training initiatives will be an advantage.


Key Responsibilities

●      Deliver presentations and information sessions in secondary schools, colleges, universities, and youth organisations.

●      Engage students through classroom briefings and outreach activities to drive sign-ups to the learning platform.

●      Build and maintain strong relationships with teachers, school administrators, and youth groups.

●      Support students with registration, onboarding, and basic troubleshooting on the digital platform.

●      Demonstrate platform features, modules, and assessments to new users.

●      Assist in planning and coordinating field visits, workshops, and community engagement activities.

●      Gather feedback from students, educators, and partners to inform platform improvements.

●      Record attendance, sign-up numbers, and engagement metrics accurately.

●      Prepare weekly updates summarising activities, progress, challenges, and recommendations.

●      Represent the project at events and contribute to short videos, social media content, and student testimonials.


Qualifications

●      Currently enrolled in a university programme or a recent graduate (within the last 2 years).

●      Strong interest in education, youth development, digital learning, or training delivery.

●      Excellent communication and presentation skills in English; proficiency in at least one local Ghanaian language (e.g., Twi, Ga, Ewe) is an advantage.

●      Ability to confidently deliver presentations to large groups of students.

●      Competence using digital devices, online platforms, and mobile apps.

●      Good organisational skills and the ability to manage field-based tasks independently.

●      Willingness to travel across assigned regions and visit multiple schools per week.

●      Must be trustworthy, reliable, and professional when engaging with institutions.


Digital Skills

●      Prior experience in any of the following:

○      School outreach programmes

○      Youth leadership initiatives (e.g., NSS, campus leadership roles, AIESEC, debate clubs, SRC roles)

○      NGO, community, or church-based youth engagement activities

○      Digital literacy training or tutoring

○      Customer service, sales, or public speaking

●      Experience working with students or young people in an educational setting.

●      Ability to create basic content for social media (short videos, posts, photos).

●      Knowledge of Ghana’s education environment and student needs.

●      Access to a laptop or smartphone to support digital onboarding.

●      Innovative mindset with the ability to suggest creative approaches to student engagement.


Remuniration

A competitive consultancy allowance will be provided, commensurate with experience and contribution. Details will be shared with shortlisted applicants.
