Patrol Commander

Responsibilities:

Supervisor & Leadership:

• Directly Supervise and lead guards/site supervisors/area supervisors, ensuring they are aware of the duties and responsibilities.
• Provide guidance and support to Patrol Supervisors/Area Supervisors/Site Supervisors on daily basis in the field.
• Regularly Visit locations to maintain a positive and professional work environment.
• Ensure Attrition rate of your guards is not more than 5% on monthly basis.

Scheduling & Planning:

• Develop and manage patrol schedules, ensuring adequate coverage and staffing levels.
• Prepare reports and update your supervisor and control room daily.
• Schedule your days to cover for both shifts every week.
• Spend time at each location to inspect the Daily Occurrence Book (DOB) and the entire premises or facility together with the guard(s) whereas inspecting all items handed and taken over in the DOB.

Recruit, Train & Deploy:

• Ensure no shortages are on grounds every month.
• Assist instructors during training sessions with basic training.
• Ensure All guards recruited must be uniformed before deployment.
• Conduct on the job training for guards who cannot find their rhythm on the field and also when there are new orders to be carried out.

Incident Response

• Respond to and manage incidents and emergencies, ensuring the safety of our staff and Client.
• Direct and coordinate the efforts of guards and site supervisors.

Communication

• Maintain clear and effective communication with guards and site supervisors..

Key Competencies:

• Ability to recruit security guards.
• Strong understanding of man guard security operations.
• Ability to ride motorbike.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proactive, organized, and results-oriented.
• Ability to handle pressure and meet tight deadlines

Qualifications & Experience:

• At least SHS certificate.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in Security and/or 3 years’ experience in any Security Supervisorship role.
