Job Summary

To provide operational support to the Operations Department by ensuring that various reconciliation activities are performed regularly to prevent financial statement errors and check fraud.

Job Description/Requirements

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Preparation of Statement of Affairs for partners.
  • Retrying of pending transactions.
  • Transaction cancellation per client requests.
  • Confirmation of transaction status to internal or external stakeholders.
  • OVA balance confirmation and updates.
  • Raising of vouchers for partner to make payments through Pit it.
  • Resending of money transfer control code for redemption.
  • Preparation for Statement of Affairs for collection partners.
  • Responsible for daily GHIPSS reconciliation and cash settlements.
  • Responsible for daily e-value settlements.
  • Responding and resolving agent queries.
  • Wallet PIN reset and account details amendments.
  • E-value issuance review
  • Be informed on all changes to products and services, rules, and regulations to ensure accurate reconciliation and processing of documents.
  • Ensure deadlines are met according to the risk/severity of policies, procedures and service level agreements.

Qualification, Knowledge, Skills and Work Experience Requirements:

  • BSc/BA in business administration, social studies or relevant field; further training will be a plus
  • Outstanding organizational and time-management abilities
  • Problem-solving and decision-making aptitude
  • Strong ethics and reliability, Proficient in MS Office
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to compile and interpret statistical data and communicate it in a professional and understandable manner
  • Knowledge on Settlement and Fix rate applications.
  • Good interpersonal skills to form effective working relationships with people at all level
  • Commercial awareness and numerical skills

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with company policy
  • Must be able to close late from work
  • Must be prepared to avail him/ herself during the weekend when the need arises.
  • Must be able to talk, listen and speak clearly to all stakeholders
