Job Summary
The workshop supervisor plays an essential role in overseeing the day-to-day operations within a workshop environment, ensuring that production targets are met efficiently and safely. This position involves coordinating various activities, from managing staff and monitoring production processes to implementing quality control measures. Involves overseeing and managing the usage of tools, equipment and materials and taking stock/inventory of items removed from the store for daily operations. He/she has daily records of when items were removed and returned at end of day. Ensures that an accurate inventory record of finished products is maintained in accordance with established procedures Ensures orderly storage of incoming materials and has sole access to store rooms. Communicates results of inventory reviews to Management.

Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily production operations, ensuring schedules are met and quality standards are maintained.
- Implement and enforce safety policies and procedures to minimize workplace accidents and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate with the human resources department to manage staffing needs, including hiring, training, and evaluating factory workers
- Â Â Monitor and manage inventory levels of raw materials and finished products to optimize production flow and meet delivery deadlines

- Familiarity with CAD and other mechanical design software
- Creative thinking and innovation
- Advanced problem solving and critical thinking skills
- Strong leadership and management skills
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes and quality control standards
