We are looking for a qualified Lab Technician to undertake a variety of laboratory procedures of technical nature. You will be handling sensitive equipment to analyze samples or substances and conduct tests reporting findings to the doctor.

Responsibilities
- Must possess knowledge of laboratory and experimental protocols and procedures.
- Must be able to utilize, calibrate, configure and/or troubleshoot laboratory testing systems and instruments.
- Must be able to isolate and identify specimens using advanced laboratory techniques and equipment.
- Must have knowledge of sterile procedures.
- Will be responsible for the performance of routine tests use in diagnosis and treatment of diseases, ensuring validity and accuracy of test results.
- Will collect, process, and handle blood and/or other biological specimen.
- Will perform hematology, microbiology, immunology, clinical chemistry, and urinalysis, as assigned.
- Conducts quantitative and qualitative chemical analyses of body fluids such as blood, urine, and spinal fluid; performs blood counts using microscope.
- Will conduct blood tests for transfusion purposes observing principles of asepsis to obtain blood samples.
- Will develop and maintain cell/tissue cultures for testing purposes.
- Performs quality control on test results, ensuring validity and accuracy.
- Performs calibration and troubleshooting on testing systems and instruments to ensure adherence to established standards of accuracy.
- Keeps records and reports on results according to established procedures.
