Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily kitchen operations and staff
- Prepare and supervise both local dishes (e.g. jollof, fried rice, waakye) and continental meals (burgers, wraps, grilled items)
- Maintain food quality, taste consistency, and presentation
- Control stock, reduce waste, and manage food costs
- Enforce strict hygiene and food safety standards
- Train and supervise kitchen assistants
- Plan prep schedules and kitchen workflow
Requirements
- Minimum 3–5 years experience as a Chef or Kitchen Supervisor
- Strong experience in both local and continental cuisine
- Leadership and team management skills
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Preferred
- Catering/culinary certification
- Experience in a fast-food or restaurant environment
