We are looking for a hardworking, reliable, and enthusiastic Kitchen and Service Assistant to support kitchen operations and provide excellent customer service. The successful candidate will assist with food preparation, learn and practice new recipes, serve customers, and maintain high standards of cleanliness, food hygiene, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
Kitchen Duties:
- Assist with washing, peeling, cutting, and preparing ingredients.
- Support the chef with cooking and general food preparation.
- Learn new recipes and practice preparing different dishes under supervision.
- Follow recipe instructions and established food preparation procedures.
- Assist with testing new dishes and improving cooking techniques.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen.
- Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment.
- Store ingredients properly and assist with monitoring kitchen supplies.
- Follow food safety standards and instructions from the supervisor.
Customer Service Duties:
- Welcome customers warmly and assist with seating where necessary.
- Present menus and explain available meals and beverages.
- Take customer orders accurately and communicate them to the kitchen.
- Serve food and beverages promptly and professionally.
- Check on customers to ensure they are satisfied with their orders.
- Keep tables and dining areas clean, neat, and organized.
- Respond politely to customer inquiries and complaints.
- Assist with billing and payment processing where required.
- Work closely with kitchen staff to ensure smooth and efficient service.
Requirements
- Minimum SHS qualification is preferred.
- Previous kitchen or customer service experience is an advantage, but not required.
- Interest in cooking and a willingness to learn and practice new recipes.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to follow instructions and work well in a team.
- Strong personal hygiene, time management, and organizational skills.
- Friendly, presentable, hardworking, punctual, and honest.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple responsibilities.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends as needed.
