Java Developer

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
• Participate in the entire software development lifecycle (SDLC).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, QA engineers, and other developers, to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Troubleshoot and debug software issues.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to best practices.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest Java technologies and trends.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs):

• At least 3 years of hands-on Java development experience.
• Expertise in Java frameworks such as Spring, Spring Boot, or Hibernate, with a focus on scalable design.
• Working knowledge of web technologies (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript), with experience in RESTful APIs or frameworks like React/Angular preferred.
• Proficiency in database development, including SQL and ORM tools (e.g., JPA or MyBatis).
• Strong understanding of software engineering principles, such as SOLID design and MVC patterns.
• Experience with version control systems like Git, including branching and merging workflows.
• Proven ability to analyze and resolve complex technical issues efficiently.
• Clear communication skills and a collaborative mindset for team-based projects.
• Comfort working independently or as part of a fast-paced team.

• Code quality: Measure code maintainability, readability, and adherence to coding standards.
• Software delivery: Track the timeliness and quality of software releases.
• System performance: Monitor application performance, including response time and scalability.
• Bug resolution: Track the number of bugs and the time taken to resolve them.
