Key Responsibilities
- Assist in conducting IT and systems audits in line with the Bank’s audit plan
- Review user access controls and system security settings
- Support the assessment of controls within the Core Banking System and other applications
- Assist in reviewing system backups, disaster recovery, and business continuity procedures
- Extract and analyze system data to support audit testing
- Maintain audit working papers and documentation
- Assist in preparing audit reports and tracking audit recommendations
- Support compliance with Bank of Ghana regulations and internal policies
- Assist in identifying system risks and control weaknesses
Qualification and Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, Computer Engineering, or related field
- Minimum of 1–3 years’ experience in IT support, systems administration, or IT audit (Banking experience is an advantage)
- Professional certifications such as CISA, CIA, or cybersecurity certifications will be an added advantage
Required Skills
- Basic knowledge of IT systems and information security
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good communication and report writing skills
- High level of integrity and confidentiality
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
