Job descriptions & requirements
Key Responsibilities
- Braid a wide range of hairstyles, including knotless braids, box braids, cornrows, twists, faux locs, stitch braids, goddess braids, and other trending styles.
- Consult with clients to understand their preferred hairstyles and recommend suitable options.
- Ensure all hairstyles are completed neatly, professionally, and within the expected timeframe.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hygienic workstation at all times.
- Handle clients professionally and provide exceptional customer service.
- Follow salon hygiene and safety standards.
- Care for salon tools and equipment and report any maintenance needs.
- Work collaboratively with other stylists and salon staff to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Stay updated on current hair braiding trends and techniques.
Requirements
- Minimum of Senior High School (SHS) education.
- Proven ability to braid all major hair braid styles with a high standard of quality.
- Good spoken English and strong communication skills.
- Previous salon experience is an added advantage.
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Professional appearance and positive attitude.
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to delivering quality service.
