Digital Marketing Specialist
Job summary
You will be the main producer of digital marketing across the entire Delkor-Fiberk value chain. This means running social media for all brands, managing paid advertising, improving our Google presence, creating content — including photo and video — and understanding our products and customers well enough to market them to a Ghanaian audience. This is a senior, hands-on role with real ownership and real targets. We are not looking for someone who needs daily direction.
Job descriptions & requirements
- Own and manage all social media accounts across the Group — Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, X, and WhatsApp Business — for Delkor Logistics, Fiberk Goods, and Hire Purchase Platforms.
- Plan and execute a consistent content calendar across all brands — product promotions, seasonal campaigns (World Cup, Christmas, back-to-school), customer stories, and brand awareness content.
- Grow following and engagement across all platforms. Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and enquiries daily and professionally.
- Build, manage, and optimise Facebook and Instagram ad campaigns using Meta Ads Manager with real budgets and measurable targets.
- Set up and maintain the Meta Pixel across all brand websites — custom events, retargeting audiences, lookalike audiences, and conversion tracking.
- Write ad copy, brief or produce visuals, and continuously test and adjust campaigns based on performance data.
- Improve Google search visibility for all brands — product pages, category pages, and local search for Greater Accra and beyond.
- Conduct keyword research, write or oversee SEO-optimised content, and work with the IT team to resolve Google Search Console issues.
- Monitor Google Analytics and Search Console weekly. Identify underperforming pages and act on the findings.
- Shoot and edit product photos for appliances, furniture, and mobile phones for use across the website, social media, and ads.
- Produce short-form video content for Instagram Reels and TikTok — product showcases, promotions, and behind-the-scenes brand content.
- Ensure all visual content meets a consistent, professional brand standard across all three companies. Reporting
- Deliver a clear bi-weekly report covering: content published, ad spend and results, website traffic, leads generated, and recommendations. Numbers only — no vague summaries.
- Minimum 3 years of active, hands-on digital marketing — owning accounts and campaigns, not assisting someone else who did.
- Proven social media management for a brand — growth, engagement, and consistency, not just posting.
- Proven Meta Ads Manager experience with real budgets and demonstrable ROI.
- Demonstrable SEO results — rankings improved, traffic grown, technical issues resolved.
- Hands-on photography and videography — product shoots, short-form video, editing. A portfolio is required at application.
- Experience marketing consumer electronics, appliances, furniture, logistics, or hire purchase is a strong advantage.
- Experience marketing to a Ghanaian or West African audience is strongly preferred.
- Meta Ads Manager and Meta Business Suite — confident, not just familiar.
- Meta Pixel — setup, event tracking, troubleshooting, custom conversions.
- Google Search Console and Google Analytics — reading and acting on data, not just logging in.
- SEO tools — at least one of: Google Trends, AnswerThePublic, Ahrefs orSEMrush
- Photo editing — Adobe Lightroom, Photoshop, or equivalent.
- Video editing — Adobe Premiere, CapCut, or equivalent. Short-form content for Reels and TikTok.
- Canva or similar for quick social graphics.
- WhatsApp Business — catalogues, broadcast lists, and business features.
- Basic understanding of how websites work — enough to brief a developer, read a Search Console error, and understand what a meta tag or alt text is.
- Excellent written English — you will write captions, ad copy, and customer-facing content every day.
- Self-directed — this role has no one above you in marketing. You set the plan and execute it.
- Honest with data — we want to know what is not working as much as what is. Don't dress up poor results.
- Consistent — social media requires showing up every day, not just when inspired.
- Commercially minded — every post, ad, and video should have a clear purpose tied to a business outcome.
Your portfolio must include:
- At least 3 examples of social media accounts or campaigns you have personally managed — include screenshots of growth, engagement, or results.
- At least 2 examples of Meta ad campaigns you have run — include campaign results (budget figures may be blurred if needed).
- At least 3 product photos you have shot and edited yourself — appliances, electronics, or furniture preferred, but not required.
- At least 2 short-form videos you have produced — Reels, TikTok, or similar.
- At least 1 example of SEO work — a page you helped rank, a Search Console issue you resolved, or traffic growth you contributed to.
