Responsibilities
Under the supervision of the Senior Nurse, the successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Suggesting, planning, and monitoring health measures to improve healthcare delivery within the company.
- Providing care and protection of employees’ health within the company.
- Delivering occupational healthcare services to the workforce.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records on sickness and workplace accidents.
- Preparing and submitting monthly health reports (reported cases, treatments, and recommendations) to management to aid decision-making.
- Ensuring continuous improvement in healthcare delivery and implementation of health- related policies.
- Training first aiders to manage basic health needs in the absence of the medical officer.
- Organizing health talks and sensitization programmes.
- Liaising with the Certification Department and the Environmental Health and Safety Officer to organize screening for agro sprayers and food handlers.
- Performing any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.
Qualification & Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Registered General Nursing (RGN)
- Must be registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Counci
- Age: 35 – 45 years
- Must be willing to work permanently
- Must be a resident of Nsawam or willing to relocate to Nsawam
- Good communication, interpersonal, and record-keeping skills
