Job Summary
We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Assistant Security and Legal Coordinator to support our legal, investigative, and security operations. The ideal candidate will assist in employee vetting, coordinate court and legal matters, monitor security guard activities, and handle investigations. A strong background in law enforcement or legal/security administration is essential.

Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
Vetting:
- Monitoring of prospective employees [per Disclaimers/Wanted Persons] from Daily Newspapers.
- Vetting of prospective employees.
- Writing of Police Reports on Prospective employees
Court Issues:
- Preparation of Relevant Documents before going to court.
- Going to court in person.
- Dealing with court cases.
- Liaising with vital witnesses.
- Liaising with Court/Police Prosecutors.
- Liaising with Police Investigators.
- Liaising with court clerks.
- Preparation of essential exhibits for court.
- Gathering substantial and relevant documents for court.
- Giving evidence, where possible, in cases at the court.
- Keeping dates and information for court attendance.
- Keeping interested parties [vital witness(es)] informed of court dates
Security Issues:
- Liaising with the various CEOs and other high-profile personalities of the Private Security Companies.
- Monitoring the activities of the Private Security Guards [Bi-monthly Reports].
- Liaising with the various BMs on the activities of the Security Guards.
- Dealing with varied security issues.
- Ensuring to send to the appropriate authorities to deduct total number of Absent from Private Security Officer’s Invoice/salary.
Investigative Prowers:
- Investigating various cases in our AoR.
- Liaising with the various Police Commanders.
- Travelling on cases, where necessary.
- Writing of relevant correspondence to the police.
- Visiting Crime Scene[s].
- Writing Investigative Report[s]
General:
- Giving directives or informed opinion on various issues.
- Giving ‘layman’s but cogent opinion’ on cases.
- Putting his rich experience as a retired Senior Police Officer at the disposal of the company.
- Partaking [sometimes] in giving lectures to new and old employees.
- Helping in the recovery of Overdue debts when the need arises.
- Submitting relevant written reports to the Higher Authority.
- Participate in Vetting of Guarantors for prospective employees.
- Member of Disciplinary Panel/Administrative Hearing Committee.
- Member of Risk Committee.
- Working on Tenancy Agreements/Renewals.
- Preparation of Relevant Formats [i.e. Tenancy Agreement, Cheque Responsibility Letter, Absence, Returns and Reports on Private Security Guards, etc]
- Always at the disposal of both Staff and Management of the BCs and Branches for any eventuality.
- Issuing out of Demand/Final Demand Notice to recalcitrant borrowers.
- And any other responsibilities given by the Chief Executive Officer.
