Your Impact

• Collaborate with Leads and Cross-functional Teams to align technical solutions to business requirements and needs, support maintenance, upgrade and new implementations.
• Monitor usage and pursue optimization activities.
• Facilitate internal audits, reviews and testing in collaboration with vendors, if applicable and deliver deliverables to appropriate teams.
  

As Part Of Our Team, You Will

• Assist in the implementation and ongoing maintenance of mining applications used within the organization.
• Support the configuration and customization of mining applications to meet specific business needs.
• Conduct testing and quality assurance activities to ensure the functionality, security and reliability of mining applications.
• Offer technical support and troubleshooting assistance to users of mining applications.
• Collect user feedback to continuously enhance digital data services and improve application performance.
• Execute system testing and validation to guarantee the reliability and accuracy of mining applications.
• Prepare and maintain comprehensive documentation for all specialized mining applications within the organization.
• Work closely with internal information technology (IT) teams, cybersecurity, infrastructure and other core operations systems teams to ensure seamless integration and operation of mining applications.
• Communicate and coordinate with mining teams, operations and third-party vendors to support and enhance mining applications.
• Assist in project management tasks, including budget reporting, control, and forecasting related to mining application projects.
  

Your Training, Skills & Experience Checklist
Formal Qualification (including Professional Registrations):

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  

Additional Knowledge

• Strong knowledge of mining operations and applications support.
• Understanding of project management principles, including budget reporting, control, and forecasting.
• Familiarity with contracting, negotiating, and change management.
• Awareness of technology trends and strategic planning in the mining industry.
• Experience with writing code, development of interface logic (APIs), and advanced troubleshooting techniques.
  

Experience

• A minimum of 3 - 5 years’ extensive experience in a similar position.

• Proficiency in configuring and customizing mining applications.
• Advanced skills in testing and quality assurance for application functionality, security and reliability.
• Strong troubleshooting and issue resolution abilities for mining applications.
• Ability to gather and analyze user feedback to improve application performance.
• Expertise in preparing and maintaining comprehensive application documentation.
• Proficiency in system validation and performance monitoring.
• Strong communication skills for liaising with internal teams and external stakeholders.
• Technical proficiency in using project management tools and software.
• Advanced skills in data analysis and reporting using tools such as MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
