The Warehouse Manager is responsible for overseeing the efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of FMCG products. The role ensures inventory accuracy, timely order fulfillment, compliance with safety standards, and optimal warehouse operations to support sales and distribution targets.

Key Responsibilities
Warehouse Operations Management
- Oversee daily warehouse activities including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch.
- Ensure efficient space utilization and proper stock arrangement
- Monitor workflow and optimize processes for speed and accuracy.
Inventory Control
- Maintain accurate inventory records and stock levels.
- Conduct regular stock counts and reconciliations.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies, damages, or losses.
Logistics & Distribution
- Coordinate with transport and sales teams to ensure timely delivery of goods.
- Plan and manage dispatch schedules to meet customer demands.
- Ensure proper documentation for all inbound and outbound shipments.
Team Management
- Supervise, train, and motivate warehouse staff.
- Assign duties and monitor performance.
- Enforce discipline, safety, and operational standards.
Health, Safety & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse.
- Implement and enforce company policies and procedures.
Reporting & Documentation
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly warehouse reports.
- Track KPIs such as stock accuracy, order fulfillment rate, and turnaround time.
- Maintain proper documentation of inventory and logistics activities.
Cost Control & Efficiency
- Monitor warehouse expenses and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Reduce wastage, damages, and inefficiencies.
Key Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
- 3–7 years of experience in warehouse management, preferably in FMCG.
- Strong knowledge of inventory management systems and warehouse operations.
- Good leadership and team management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and warehouse management systems (WMS).
