Job Description/Requirements

VP of Marketing Responsibilities

  • Product Positioning and Messaging: Direct and refine product positioning, ensuring that Stairwell's offerings are uniquely presented and resonate with target markets. 
  • Brand Management and Press Strategy: Oversee brand consistency across all channels. Develop and execute a press strategy that enhances Stairwell's reputation and presence in the cybersecurity sector.
  • Analyst Relations: Cultivate relationships with industry analysts. Design and implement strategies that position Stairwell as a thought leader and go-to authority in the cybersecurity domain.
  • Market Intelligence: Harness market insights to inform and refine the marketing strategy. Stay ahead of industry trends, competitive shifts, and emerging opportunities to ensure Stairwell remains at the forefront.
  • Sales Enablement: Empower the sales team with the tools, resources, and insights necessary for success. Ensure that marketing initiatives seamlessly translate into sales strategies.
  • Field Marketing: Lead field marketing initiatives, coordinating events, and other on-the-ground activities that expand Stairwell's presence and influence.
  • Content Development: Oversee the creation of compelling content across various platforms. Ensure that content aligns with Stairwell's brand voice, product positioning, and marketing objectives.
  • Demand Generation: Develop and implement strategies to drive lead acquisition and nurture prospects through the sales funnel. Use a blend of content, events, and digital tactics to optimize conversion rates. Collaborate with sales to align efforts and enhance lead quality.


VP of Marketing Qualifications

  • 10+ years in senior leadership, with comprehensive expertise spanning diverse strategies.
  • Deep understanding of the cybersecurity landscape, staying ahead of trends and competitive shifts.
  • Proven ability to inspire and lead high-performing teams, fostering a culture of innovation.
  • Strong collaboration skills, ensuring synergy across departments and with external stakeholders.
  • Proficient in leveraging state-of-the-art marketing tools while balancing strategic vision with agile execution.
