Job summary
A Store Keeper is responsible for managing the receipt, storage, issuance, and recording of materials, supplies, and equipment. They ensure inventory is maintained accurately, stored safely, and available when needed while minimizing losses and stock shortages.

Key Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and record incoming materials and supplies.
- Store items properly to prevent damage, theft, or deterioration.
- Issue materials according to authorized requests.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and stock levels.
- Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile physical inventory with records.
- Monitor minimum and maximum stock levels and report shortages
- Prepare purchase requisitions for replenishment of stock.
- Ensure proper labeling, organization, and housekeeping of the store.
- Maintain documentation such as Goods Received Notes (GRN), issue vouchers, and stock registers.
- Coordinate with procurement, warehouse, and other departments.
- Follow company health, safety, and security procedures.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience in storekeeping, warehouse operations, or inventory management.
- Basic computer skills including Microsoft Excel and inventory software.
- Knowledge of stock control procedures.
- Good organizational and communication skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
