Project Management Telecom PMP Agile Scrum Master

Job Summary

The (PM) is responsible for planning, managing, and overseeing key initiatives and implementation projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and budget, while maintaining high-quality deliverables. The PM optimizes cost, schedule, and performance throughout the project lifecycle, covering design.

Job Description/Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage project delivery, including risk mitigation, issue resolution, and scope control.
  • Lead and motivate cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Oversee technical personnel to maintain on-time and within-budget execution.
  • Define project scope, deliverables, roles, and responsibilities in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Allocate and monitor resources, including budget, staff, and external partners.
  • Establish major milestone reviews and decision gates throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Communicate effectively with developers, product owners, and subject matter experts.
  • Plan, direct, and execute complex projects/programs with broad authority.
  • Maintain accurate project estimates, timelines, and status reports.
  • Track team velocity, financials, and KPIs, publishing progress reports as needed.
  • Resolve conflicts through leadership and informed decision-making.
  • Identify, track, and manage issues, risks, and action items, updating stakeholders accordingly.


Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in MS PowerPoint, MS Project, and Excel for project planning and tracking.
  • Knowledge of project management methodologies, including Waterfall, Agile, and SAFe.
  • PMP certification is a plus.
  • Understanding of critical telecom platforms, Intelligent Network applications, and service layer offerings.
  • Strong operational management and ability to liaise between teams.
  • Detail-oriented with a results-driven mindset.
  • Proven expertise in people management, risk management, and change management.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of software development lifecycle best practices.
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration and relationship-building skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a professional and diplomatic approach.
  • High sense of responsibility and accountability for delivering quality work.


Experience Level / Years of Experience:

  • 7+ years of experience, with at least 4 years as a Project Manager.
  • Management and having handled Projects preferably in Telecom Domain.
