Job Description/Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage project delivery, including risk mitigation, issue resolution, and scope control.
- Lead and motivate cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Oversee technical personnel to maintain on-time and within-budget execution.
- Define project scope, deliverables, roles, and responsibilities in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Allocate and monitor resources, including budget, staff, and external partners.
- Establish major milestone reviews and decision gates throughout the project lifecycle.
- Communicate effectively with developers, product owners, and subject matter experts.
- Plan, direct, and execute complex projects/programs with broad authority.
- Maintain accurate project estimates, timelines, and status reports.
- Track team velocity, financials, and KPIs, publishing progress reports as needed.
- Resolve conflicts through leadership and informed decision-making.
- Identify, track, and manage issues, risks, and action items, updating stakeholders accordingly.
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in MS PowerPoint, MS Project, and Excel for project planning and tracking.
- Knowledge of project management methodologies, including Waterfall, Agile, and SAFe.
- PMP certification is a plus.
- Understanding of critical telecom platforms, Intelligent Network applications, and service layer offerings.
- Strong operational management and ability to liaise between teams.
- Detail-oriented with a results-driven mindset.
- Proven expertise in people management, risk management, and change management.
- Comprehensive knowledge of software development lifecycle best practices.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration and relationship-building skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a professional and diplomatic approach.
- High sense of responsibility and accountability for delivering quality work.
Experience Level / Years of Experience:
- 7+ years of experience, with at least 4 years as a Project Manager.
- Management and having handled Projects preferably in Telecom Domain.
