Our client

A leading cultural and arts institution in Ghana, is seeking a Project Manager to join its Curatorial team and support the delivery of innovative arts programmes and exhibitions.

About the Role

The Project Manager will play a key role in planning, coordinating, and delivering exhibitions and creative programmes that align with the organisation’s mission. This is a hands-on role requiring close collaboration with artists, internal teams, and external partners to ensure high-quality project execution from concept to completion.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, manage, and deliver exhibitions and creative projects end-to-end
• Coordinate multiple teams and stakeholders to ensure alignment and timely delivery
• Develop project plans, budgets, timelines, and risk mitigation strategies
• Work closely with artists, mediating between creative vision and institutional goals
• Supervise interns, apprentices, and volunteers on assigned projects
• Contribute to research, programme development, and proposal writing
• Support exhibition installation, documentation, and evaluation

Key Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in project coordination or management
• Strong organisational, budgeting, and planning skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage teams, deadlines, and competing priorities
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability
• Experience in the arts or creative industry is a strong advantage
