A leading cultural and arts institution in Ghana, is seeking a Project Manager to join its Curatorial team and support the delivery of innovative arts programmes and exhibitions.
About the Role
The Project Manager will play a key role in planning, coordinating, and delivering exhibitions and creative programmes that align with the organisation’s mission. This is a hands-on role requiring close collaboration with artists, internal teams, and external partners to ensure high-quality project execution from concept to completion.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, manage, and deliver exhibitions and creative projects end-to-end
- Coordinate multiple teams and stakeholders to ensure alignment and timely delivery
- Develop project plans, budgets, timelines, and risk mitigation strategies
- Work closely with artists, mediating between creative vision and institutional goals
- Supervise interns, apprentices, and volunteers on assigned projects
- Contribute to research, programme development, and proposal writing
- Support exhibition installation, documentation, and evaluation
Key Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in project coordination or management
- Strong organisational, budgeting, and planning skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage teams, deadlines, and competing priorities
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability
- Experience in the arts or creative industry is a strong advantage
