Job Summary
This person will be responsible for managing the Drift and Goodhabit fragrance brands within the whole product development lifecycle from concept to launch, interacting with vendors (formulation labs and packaging suppliers), managing timelines and ensuring all the key milestones are met.

Job Description/Requirements
- Ideate and present new fragrance concepts to VP & CEO/ Co-Founder
- Create fragrance briefs for new concepts, identify benchmarks and brief fragrance house partners
- Identify and capitalize on new growth/white space opportunities through competitive analysis
- Initiate competitive reviews and maintain a pulse on key emerging trends within the fine fragrance, home fragrance and car fragrance segments
- Purchases competitive products. Organizes distribution of these products; tracks and records feedback from Product Development Team
- Manage fragrance panel testing & efficacy testing
- Manage pricing strategy for owned launches, including pricing scales, COG targets, recommended SRPs
- Manage COG and target margins for owned projects
- Maintains all PD documents and charts on excel, Word, PowerPoint, Jira & Smartsheets
- Manage timelines and adherence to project milestones
- Manage production standards for the assigned categories
- Route submissions for evaluation and gathering/reporting feedback to inform product redirect or approvals.
- Manage, arrange, and maintain weekly touch bases with contract formulation labs/manufacturers for formula developments and/or reformulation updates.
- Collaborate closely with Operations and Marketing on product approval process and relay to manufacturers or laboratories as needed.
- Coordinates all product formulations- opening packages, distributing samples, labeling and organizing samples. Tracking development/ feedback and redirections in excel
- Responsible for organizing and keeping track of all Product Development samples, assets and various materials
- Develops and updates copy documents for artworks and liaises with graphic designers and package development
- Assists any product registration partner by gathering all paperwork needed to register or update products registration files
What You’ll Need to Have:
- Passion for the fragrance industry and knowledge of the current trends.
- Keen sense of smell
- Related College degree and 4-5 years experience
- Great collaboration and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, ever changing start-up environment.
- Ability to solve problems and work independently.
