Job summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and results-driven Procurement Officer with 3–5 years of experience to manage the organization’s purchasing processes. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing suppliers, negotiating contracts, ensuring cost-effectiveness, and maintaining quality standards while adhering to company policies and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end procurement processes, including sourcing, vendor selection, and purchasing
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors
  • Conduct market research to identify cost-effective and reliable suppliers
  • Prepare and process purchase orders in accordance with company policies
  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts to achieve the best value for the organization
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with relevant departments to ensure timely replenishment
  • Evaluate supplier performance and ensure compliance with contractual agreements
  • Ensure procurement activities comply with legal, ethical, and company standards
  • Track orders and ensure timely delivery of goods and services
  • Resolve issues related to delivery, quality, or pricing discrepancies
  • Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation
  • Prepare procurement reports and analyze spending trends to identify cost-saving opportunities


Requirements & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 3–5 years of proven experience in procurement or supply chain roles
  • Strong negotiation and vendor management skills
  • Good understanding of procurement processes, policies, and best practices
  • Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • High level of integrity and professionalism
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team


Preferred Qualifications

  • Professional certification such as CIPS (Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply) is an advantage
  • Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
  • Knowledge of local and international procurement regulations
