Job summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and results-driven Procurement Officer with 3–5 years of experience to manage the organization’s purchasing processes. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing suppliers, negotiating contracts, ensuring cost-effectiveness, and maintaining quality standards while adhering to company policies and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end procurement processes, including sourcing, vendor selection, and purchasing
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors
- Conduct market research to identify cost-effective and reliable suppliers
- Prepare and process purchase orders in accordance with company policies
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts to achieve the best value for the organization
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with relevant departments to ensure timely replenishment
- Evaluate supplier performance and ensure compliance with contractual agreements
- Ensure procurement activities comply with legal, ethical, and company standards
- Track orders and ensure timely delivery of goods and services
- Resolve issues related to delivery, quality, or pricing discrepancies
- Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation
- Prepare procurement reports and analyze spending trends to identify cost-saving opportunities
Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
- 3–5 years of proven experience in procurement or supply chain roles
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills
- Good understanding of procurement processes, policies, and best practices
- Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- High level of integrity and professionalism
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications
- Professional certification such as CIPS (Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply) is an advantage
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
- Knowledge of local and international procurement regulations
