Job Summary
To lead and provide expert guidance in shaping the business operating model, organizational design, driving people development, and overseeing end-to-end business performance. This involves driving enterprise-wide organisational effectiveness by aligning strategy, structure, people capability, culture, and performance systems, ensuring sustainable productivity, leadership depth, and measurable business outcomes.

Job Role
Enterprise Organisational Effectiveness Strategy
- Design and implement an integrated Organisational Effectiveness (OE) framework aligned to business strategy.
- Translate corporate strategy into people, capability, structure, and performance requirements.
- Oversee organisation design, job architecture, and workforce productivity models.
- Establish enterprise standards for performance management, goal alignment, and accountability.
- Ensure continuous diagnosis of organisational health using data and analytics.
Learning, Development & Capability Governance
- Provide strategic oversight to enterprise learning, leadership development, succession planning, and talent pipelines.
- Provide guidance related to leadership development programmes and career management in a fast‑evolving digital landscape.
- Drive initiatives that instil a culture of learning withing the business making MTN Ghana a learning organisation
- Ensure capability development initiatives are future-focused and business-critical.
- Ensure a monitoring framework is in place for ROI and impact of learning and talent investments.
- Responsible for the development of a talent management strategy ensuring its aligned to the business objectives delivery
- Provide guidance in building the required internal talent pools and pipelines to meet the talent acquisition requirements.
Talent and Performance Management & Culture Enablement
- Oversight responsibilities for the organisation’s Talent & Performance Management framework delivery.
- Drive alignment between individual, team, and organisational performance.
- Design initiatives to embed a high-performance, values-driven culture across the organisation.
- Ensure performance systems reinforce fairness, accountability, and continuous improvement
- Lead and manage end‑to‑end succession planning by working with team to identifying critical roles, developing robust talent pipelines, and implementing strategies that ensure leadership continuity. Measure and report on the impact of succession planning through improved bench strength, reduced leadership gaps, and enhanced organisational resilience.
- Align talent reviews, succession planning, and leadership readiness with strategic priorities.
Workforce Effectiveness, OD & Change Leadership
- Lead enterprise OD interventions, including restructuring, role clarity, and operating model optimisation.
- Sponsor and govern large-scale change initiatives affecting people, structure, and performance.
- Ensure change management methodologies are applied consistently and effectively.
- Anticipate organisational risks and capability gaps arising from strategic change.
- Diagnose organisational dynamics to generate evidence‑based insights into root causes of business challenges.
- Provide advisory services on structured change management to guide people‑related transformations.
- Provide enterprise‑wide strategic guidance on organisational architecture and design initiatives, ensuring alignment with the Group blueprint while enabling employee growth and driving business effectiveness.
Internal Communication Enablement
- Partner with the Corporate Communication function in delivering on the enterprise internal communication and engagement strategy.
- Drive consistent, clear, and outcome-focused communication of strategy, priorities, and change initiatives to strengthen alignment, accelerate execution, and deliver measurable result.
- Align leadership communication, culture messaging, and engagement interventions to performance outcomes.
- Ensure internal communication enables transparency, trust, and organisational alignment.
- Integrate engagement insights into organisational effectiveness, Organisational design, and performance improvement actions.
Customer Excellence & Stakeholder Engagement
- Champion cultural transformation to embed values that drive superior business performance.
- Deliver HR solutions that elevate customer experience and strengthen loyalty.
- Partner with ExCom members to streamline processes and improve performance outcomes.
- Drive measurable improvements in employee Net Promoter Score.
- Deliver business value through strategic partnerships with ecosystem partners.
- Maintain strong governance relationships with ExCom and divisional leadership
- Build robust networks with all functional units to provide integrated services.
Education
- First Degree in Human Resource Management /Industrial Psychology or equivalent qualification in a related field.
- Post graduate qualification in human resources or an MBA/ EMBA is a must
- Professional certification (SHRM, etc.) a plus
- Experience 10 years experience in human resource management including:
- Senior management track record of 8 years or more in the relevant sector or industry as per the relevant role
- Experience working in a global or multinational enterprise
- Work experience across diverse cultures and geographies will be an advantage.
- Experience in managing a national sales force.
- Experience in developing Organisational effectiveness and performance metrics.
