Job summary
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Data Entry Officer with 3–5 years of experience, preferably within the construction sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately entering, updating, and maintaining project, financial, and operational data. This role is critical in ensuring proper documentation, reporting, and data integrity across construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
- Accurately input, update, and maintain data related to construction projects, including materials, labor, equipment usage, and costs
- Manage and organize project documentation such as invoices, purchase orders, delivery notes, and contracts
- Maintain databases for project tracking, budgets, and timelines
- Verify data for accuracy and completeness before entry into systems
- Assist in preparing daily, weekly, and monthly reports for project managers and senior management
- Track inventory records and update stock movement data
- Support procurement and finance teams with data entry and reconciliation tasks
- Ensure proper filing (digital and physical) of all project-related documents
- Retrieve and provide data when requested by supervisors or auditors
- Identify and correct data discrepancies or errors promptly
- Maintain confidentiality and security of sensitive company information
- Collaborate with site engineers, quantity surveyors, and administrative staff to collect required data
Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Business Administration, Information Management, or a related field
- 3–5 years of proven experience in data entry, preferably in construction, engineering, or a related industry
- High typing speed with excellent accuracy
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
- Familiarity with construction management software or ERP systems is an advantage
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage large volumes of data efficiently
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with project management tools (e.g., Procore, Buildertrend, or similar)
