Creative Writing Facilitators Needed (after-school Program)

About the Program

Krodua Foundation for Literary and Creative Arts is seeking passionate and experienced Creative Writing Facilitators to join the Young Creatives Academy, an after-school program dedicated to nurturing the next generation of writers, storytellers, and creative thinkers.

Role Responsibilities

Facilitators will:

• Plan and deliver engaging creative writing lessons for children and young people
• Introduce learners to storytelling, character development, world-building, dialogue, and poetry
• Provide constructive feedback on learners' work
• Encourage creativity, imagination, and confidence in young writers
• Support learners in preparing stories and poems for publication and competitions
• Maintain attendance records and basic progress reports
• Collaborate with the Young Creatives Academy team on program activities and showcases

Ideal Candidates

We are looking for individuals who:

• Have a background in Creative Writing, Literature, English, Education, Journalism, Publishing, or a related field
• Have experience teaching, mentoring, facilitating, or working with children and young people
• Possess strong writing and communication skills
• Are enthusiastic about developing young talent
• Can create an inclusive and encouraging learning environment
• Have published work, teaching experience, or literary industry experience (an advantage but not required)
