Job Summary

The Content Marketing Manager role will be responsible for building awareness and affinity for the Pipe platform, bringing both the business and product side to life. The goal will be to amplify Pipe's mission and values through creative content, partnerships, emails and newsletters, communications and press, social media, product marketing, and creative design. Internally you will work with Marketing, Communications, Design, and Product teams to ideate, plan, and deliver impactful content intended to drive new user acquisition, repeat usage, revenue, and increase lifetime value and utilization. You should feel comfortable thinking across several different product categories and understand financial services and technology

Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Conceptualize, maintain, and iterate on a content strategy for Pipe encompassing product, engineering, and brand awareness.
  • Manage content from inception to execution to distribution across multiple content channels. 
  • Operationalize the strategy by working with the CMO on a plan to prioritize and resource it and by setting goals for the content strategy and its key components (i.e. process, execution, and KPI management).
  • Develop clear plans on how to grow Pipe’s sell side and buy side audiences and elevate awareness, bringing a clear, evidence-based perspective on how and when to utilize a broad range of mediums, including editorial content, educational material, social media events/experiences, and partnerships. 
  • Work to rally internal stakeholders across the organization to ensure the success of the strategy and report on how well various tactics and channels are meeting their goals.
  • Develop messaging priorities and maintain an editorial calendar for each forum by shaping the work of content producers, helping them define channel-specific strategies, and overseeing the creative execution laddering up to the content strategy.
  • Manage budget for creative production and make sure CMO has clear visibility on spend, project workflows, and strategy. 
  • Manage freelancers and consultants. 
  • Write/edit content regularly across multiple departments in the organization.
  • Work with the internal Growth team to develop distribution strategies, garner insights, and data, and manage overall content KPIs. 


What We Look For:

  • Minimum of 4+ years of content experience; B2B company and/or financial services a plus
  • Experience with managing and developing content across various departments, identifying needs, and executing strategic initiatives
  • Consistent track record of hitting and exceeding quotas and working cross-functionally

 

Qualifications:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, ClickUp & GSuite
  • High-level understanding of financing and alternative finance in particular
