Job Summary

The Digital Merchandiser is responsible of the end-to-end process of managing product assortment and proposition in line with the brand and commercial strategy for Eastpak and Kipling brands. You should have a deep knowledge of product and lifecycle, be able to plan and deliver profitable, consumer focused ranges. Provide the recommendations for the right stock at the right time with the right style and options to delight the consumer.

Job Description/Requirements

How You Will Make a Difference:

  • Own and drive the product proposition across digital DTC channels (Kipling.com) making qualitative and quantitative choices for the seasonal collections, collaborations, exclusive (E.g. gifting, bundles, back to school) and key initiatives, according to the buy budget and business needs.
  • Prepare, present & track the go to market strategy for seasonal collections and key initiatives using Digital Sales KPIs (E.g. sellout, returns, ROS),
  • Track performance, carry out analysis and provide insights for seasonal collections, collaborations & online exclusives,
  • Draw insights and provide recommendations, based on trends and results, to product team for future product/collection opportunities,
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to define product offer and discounts for sale/markdown moments (ESS/MSS/BFCM)
  • Collaborate with the digital trading team to optimise website categorisation/consumer experience,
  • Monitor & share product trends and initiatives of competitors,

Skills for Success:

  • You should be Digitally savvy team player, eager to learn new solutions and practices in this continuously evolving field:
  • With 3-5 years of experience in the same position within a fashion, lifestyle or luxury brand
  • Already well-established in a Merchandiser level role or above, and confident in driving the full lifecycle of a category
  • A strong love for product and awareness of the market, especially in lifestyle category (backpack and luggage is a plus)
  • Demonstrates commercial instinct
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Advanced skills in Excel
  • Problem-solving and solution-oriented attitude.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
