Job summary

The Chef is responsible for planning, preparing, and presenting high- quality meals in line with the company’s standards. The role requires consistency, creativity, food safety compliance, and the ability to work under pressure while delivering nutritious, well-presented dishes for events, corporate services, and daily operations.

Job descriptions & requirements

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, prepare, cook, and present meals according to approved menus and recipes
  • Ensure food quality, taste, portion control, and presentation meet company standards
  • Maintain high standards of hygiene, sanitation, and food safety at all times
  • Supervise kitchen assistants and support staff during food preparation and service
  • Manage kitchen operations during events, including timing and coordination
  • Monitor inventory levels and report food stock requirements promptly
  • Minimize food waste and ensure efficient use of ingredients
  • Ensure proper storage of raw materials and cooked foods
  • Participate in menu development, including healthy and wellness-focused meals
  • Comply with health, safety, and company policies at all times
  • Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment, tools, and work areas
  • Adapt menus to client needs, dietary requirements, and specialrequests

Qualifications & Experience

  •  Certificate or Diploma in Catering, Hospitality, or Culinary Arts (preferred)
  • Minimum of 2–3 years’ experience as a Chef or Cook in a catering or hospitality setting
  • Knowledge of Ghanaian and continental dishes (added advantage)
  • Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene standards
  • Ability to work long hours, weekends, and during events when required
  • Good communication and teamwork skills

Salary Range: Gh2000- Gh2500
