Job Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Production Supervisor to oversee daily operations in our hardware factory Nail/ Tile/ Pipe workshop. The ideal candidate will ensure efficient production processes, maintain quality standards, and lead a team of skilled workers to meet production targets. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, organize, and supervise daily production activities in the workshop to meet production schedules and targets.
  • Monitor and optimize manufacturing processes to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
  • Ensure all products meet quality standards through regular inspections and adherence to SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures).
  • Lead, train, and motivate a team of workshop technicians and operators, fostering a culture of safety and teamwork.
  • Coordinate with maintenance teams to ensure machinery and equipment are in optimal working condition.
  • Track production metrics, prepare reports, and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Enforce workplace safety regulations and ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards.
  • Collaborate with supply chain and inventory teams to ensure availability of raw materials and timely delivery of finished goods.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a production supervisory role, preferably in a hardware or manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, machinery, and quality control standards in the hardware industry.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and inspire a team.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies is a plus.
  • Proficiency in [Insert Relevant Software/Tools, e.g., ERP systems, WMS, MS Office].
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Management, or a related field (preferred but not mandatory).
