Role Description The Stock Controller is a full-time, on-site role based in Accra, responsible for overseeing stock levels and ensuring accurate inventory records. Day-to-day tasks include monitoring incoming and outgoing stock, updating inventory systems, performing regular stock counts, and reconciling variances. The role involves coordinating with procurement, warehouse, and finance teams to maintain optimal stock levels and prevent stock-outs or overstock situations. The Stock Controller will generate inventory reports, analyze stock data to identify trends or issues, and recommend actions to improve stock turnover and storage efficiency. This position also requires adherence to internal controls and procedures, maintaining proper documentation, and supporting audits related to inventory.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Stock Control, Stock Management, and Inventory Control.
- Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills for data interpretation, variance analysis, and decision-making.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication skills for collaborating with internal teams and external partners.
- Candidates should possess proficiency in inventory software or ERP systems, and good MS Excel skills.
- Candidates should possess strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work accurately under time constraints.
- Candidates should possess a relevant qualification in supply chain, logistics, business administration, or a related field; prior experience in stock or inventory roles is an advantage.
