Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Quantity Surveyor role based in Accra. The Quantity Surveyor will prepare and review Bills of Quantities (BOQ), assist in cost planning for new and ongoing residential projects, and support tendering and contract administration activities. The role includes monitoring project costs, tracking variations, and preparing cost reports to help ensure projects are delivered within budget and aligned with financial targets. The Quantity Surveyor will collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and contractors to provide accurate cost advice, support value engineering initiatives, and maintain clear, detailed documentation. The position also involves contributing to budgeting, forecasting, and procurement decisions, while ensuring compliance with internal standards and local regulations.

Qualifications

  • Strong skills in BOQ preparation and measurement, with experience interpreting drawings and specifications.
  • Proficiency in cost planning and cost management across all project stages.
  • Experience in cost control and cost reporting to monitor budgets, variations, and financial performance.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  • Knowledge of construction contracts, tender processes, and local building regulations in Ghana.
  • Ability to use relevant quantity surveying and spreadsheet software for measurement and reporting.
  • Strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work on-site and manage multiple priorities.
  • Previous experience in residential or real estate development projects is an advantage.
