We’re seeking a Production Coordinator to oversee daily operations at our sewing facility. This role includes managing production schedules, maintaining quality standards, teaching basic sewing skills, and supporting pattern development. Job Description/Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily production schedules and ensure timely product completion
- Maintain quality control and adherence to Hedzole’s brand standards
- Provide basic sewing instruction to women in the program
- Support or lead in pattern creation and adjustments
- Manage inventory and order necessary materials
- Identify opportunities for production efficiency and cost-saving
- Facilitate communication between design, production, and management teams
- Troubleshoot and resolve production-related issues
Qualifications:
- Experience in fashion, sewing, or textile-based production coordination
- Ability to sew and, ideally, draft or modify patterns
- Experience in teaching or mentoring others in a hands-on environment
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to sustainability, social impact, and women’s empowerment
