Job Summary

The Global Product Management team at Olink is growing and we are now looking for a Product Manager to manage our Target 96 & 48 product lines. In this role you will interact with R&D, Project Management, Marketing, Sales and Supply Chain teams as well as other stakeholders to meet product line goals. The Team currently consists of three Product Managers and a Product Content Manager reporting to the Strategic Portfolio Director.

Job Description/Requirements

Primary Responsibilities

  • Product line ownership and responsibility for product line vision, strategy and development roadmap in alignment with the business strategy
  • Lead the commercial part of product development projects including ownership of user requirement specifications, launch plans and user requirement validation reports based on market, organization and business needs
  • Drive alignment of internal cross-functional teams including R&D, Support, Marketing, as well as external partners to execute the product roadmap
  • Closely collaborate with commercial and field support teams to actively support the sales process by customer visits and product trainings
  • Work with key customers and industry thought leaders to understand their needs to be integrated into the product portfolio
  • Gain alignment on product portfolio strategy within the Product Management team
  • Ensure that sales and customer support functions receive adequate information and training on product updates and before launches
  • Manage product lifecycle including developing business cases, product development, positioning, launch, maintenance, and discontinuation
  • Gather and analyze data about customers, competitors, and current opportunities in the market to sustain the ongoing success of the portfolio


Qualifications/Skills

  • Master’s or PhD degree in a life science field required
  • Min. 3 years of professional experience in product management, marketing, or business development in the Life Science industry
  • Specific knowledge and hands-on experience with immunoassay techniques, advanced knowledge of competitors, technologies and products is a plus
  • Good understanding of analytical tools and applications in the Life Science industry, especially immunoassays
  • Externally focused with a strong customer and business focus
  • Strong leadership and coordination skills, driven, efficient and results-oriented with good analytical skills
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills in fast and developing organisation: excellent team player leading innovative projects to success with and without formal leadership
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a global work environment
  • Ability to communicate with customers, external partners as well as internal stakeholders
  • Expertise in using Microsoft Office and Teams
  • Fluent English (verbally and written)
