Principal Human Resource Officer At Ghana Railway Development Authority

The Ghana Railway Development Authority is the designated developer of rail infrastructure and regulator in the rail sector. As part of the set-up process, the Authority has a vacancy to fill.
The Principal Human Resource Officer will provide technical support to ensure provision and effective management of Human Resources for the delivery of services in the Authority.
He will implement human resource policies and programmes in respect of employment, personnel, wages and salaries; organize the recruitment of competent personnel needed for the administration of the Authority; and maintenance of good workplace interactions; supervise the update of records of each staff, monitor posting and keeps personal history of each employee; coordinate the promotion, transfer and general welfare of the staff including issues of compensation and fringe benefits, and coordinate the preparation of training programmes for staff
Qualification Required & Experience

• He/she must have a minimum of a Master's Degree from a recognised Tertiary institution in Social Sciences or relevant field and a minimum of six (6) years relevant work experience, 3 years of which must be in a senior management position in a reputable Institution
• Knowledge in Labour Laws, computer proficiency skills, communication, presentation and negotiation skills, collective bargaining skills, strategic planning, research and analytical skills, report writing skills, and must be a team player
