Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Plumber role located at Best Western Premier Accra Airport Hotel in Accra. The Plumber is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing systems and fixtures throughout the hotel, including pipes, valves, drains, and sanitary systems. Daily tasks include diagnosing issues, performing preventive maintenance, responding to service requests, and ensuring that all plumbing work meets safety and regulatory standards. The Plumber collaborates with the maintenance team to minimize downtime, supports other technical projects as needed, and interacts professionally with hotel staff and guests when addressing plumbing-related concerns.

Education

• A Bachelor's Degree or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Plumbing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or a related field, with a minimum of Second Class Upper Division.
• Strong skills in plumbing installation, troubleshooting, and Maintenance & Repair of hotel plumbing systems
• Experience working with Pipe systems, fittings, and related tools in commercial or hospitality settings
• Ability to perform routine and preventive Maintenance to ensure safe, reliable operation of facilities
• Customer Service skills to communicate clearly and respectfully with guests and colleagues when resolving issues
• Relevant technical training or certification in plumbing or building services; trade school or vocational qualification preferred
• Knowledge of local plumbing codes, safety standards, and best practices
• Ability to work on-site in Accra, respond to emergencies, and handle physically demanding tasks
• Previous experience in hotels or similar commercial properties is an advantage
