Job Summary

We are in search of a highly organized and dynamic individual to step into the role of Operations Manager/PA/Project Coordinator at our dynamic and innovative art studio, Meridian Creative Center - MCC. This position requires an individual with exceptional organizational skills to efficiently manage dayto-day studio operations, coordinate projects seamlessly, and provide crucial administrative support. The Studio Operations Manager will have a varied and dynamic role, overseeing the smooth day-to-day running of the Studio and office spaces, providing the Meridian Creative Center team with general administrative support, and assisting with MCC-HR processes.

Job Description/Requirements


Daily Operations Management:

  • Execute and oversee day-to-day studio operations with precision.
  • Ensure meticulous and timely management of material orders and studio supplies.
  • Maintain an impeccably organized and efficient working environment.

Project Coordination:

  • Collaborate with artists and team members to coordinate and execute various art projects.
  • Systematically track project timelines, deadlines, and deliverables.
  • Organize and communicate details related to specific projects.

Administrative Support:

  • Provide comprehensive and structured administrative support to studio leadership.
  • Manage calendars with an acute attention to detail, schedule appointments, and handle correspondence meticulously.
  • Assist in preparing and organizing meetings with a focus on documentation and follow-up tasks.

Meridian Creative Center (MCC) Responsibilities:

  • Support MCC-HR processes.
  • Handle purchasing and procurement tasks.
  • Manage invoicing and salary-related activities.
  • Oversee facility management for the Studio and office spaces.

Logistics and Travel Coordination:

  • Arrange itineraries and logistics for various studio-related activities
  • Coordinate travel plans efficiently.

Events and Exhibitions Support:

  • Manage contact lists for exhibitions, dinners, and events.
  • Support the Lead Artist and Artistic Director during openings.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in operations management, project coordination, or a related role.
  • Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a relentless focus on quality and efficiency.
  • Proficient in using office software and project management tools.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Background or keen interest in the arts and creative industries.
  • Previous experience in a studio or creative environment.
  • Familiarity with art materials and supplies
