Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Nanny role based in Accra. The Nanny will provide attentive, age-appropriate care, including supervising daily activities, ensuring safety, and supporting children’s routines. Responsibilities include planning and engaging children in educational and recreational activities, assisting with early childhood development, and promoting positive behavior. The Nanny will prepare simple, healthy meals and snacks, support basic hygiene, and maintain a clean and organized child play area. The role also involves regular communication with parents or guardians about the child’s day, needs, and progress, while following household guidelines and schedules.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess skills in Babysitting and Childcare, with a strong focus on safety and attentive supervision.
- Candidates should possess skills in Working With Children and Early Childhood Development, including supporting learning, social skills, and emotional well-being.
- Candidates should possess skills in Cooking, specifically preparing child-friendly meals and snacks and following any dietary guidelines.
- Prior experience in a nanny, babysitter, daycare, or similar childcare role is highly beneficial.
- Ability to maintain patience, empathy, and clear communication with children and adults.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to follow family instructions and household routines.
- Basic first-aid knowledge or certification, and comfort responding to minor emergencies.
- Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent; training or coursework in childcare or early childhood education is an advantage.
