Role Description The Motor Rider at Kenson Farms is a full-time, on-site role based in Accra. The Motor Rider is responsible for safely transporting farm produce, supplies, and documents between farm locations, processing sites, markets, and partner organizations. Daily tasks include planning delivery routes, loading and unloading goods, maintaining accurate delivery records, and ensuring timely and secure transport. The Motor Rider helps support farm operations by assisting with basic errands, reporting vehicle issues, and following all road safety regulations and company policies. The role also involves professional interaction with customers, suppliers, and community partners while representing Kenson Farms in a courteous and reliable manner.
Qualifications
- Valid motorcycle riding license and proven experience operating a motorbike in urban and rural environments.
- Strong knowledge of local routes in Accra and surrounding areas, with good navigation and time management skills.
- Commitment to road safety, defensive riding practices, and adherence to traffic laws and company procedures.
- Ability to handle, secure, and transport agricultural produce and supplies carefully to avoid damage or loss.
- Basic record-keeping skills to maintain delivery logs, receipts, and simple documentation accurately.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills to interact professionally with team members, customers, and community partners.
- Physical ability to ride for extended periods and to load and unload goods safely.
- Reliability, integrity, and strong sense of responsibility; punctual and able to work flexible hours when needed.
- Previous experience in delivery, logistics, or agricultural operations is an advantage.
- Minimum of secondary/high school education or equivalent; familiarity with basic English for reading instructions and completing forms.
