Electrofax Engineering Services (GH) Limited is seeking to recruit Materials Controller.
Position Title: Materials Controller – Transmission Line & Substation Relocation Project
Job Purpose
To manage the receipt, storage, inventory control, issuance, reconciliation, and reporting of project materials, equipment, and mineral-related assets to ensure accountability and uninterrupted project execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, record, and control project materials and equipment.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and stock reconciliation reports.
- Monitor stock levels and initiate replenishment requests.
- Manage warehouse operations and material storage facilities.
- Coordinate material deliveries with procurement and construction teams.
- Track material consumption and issue reports.
- Conduct regular stock counts and audits.
- Ensure proper handling and preservation of electrical and construction materials.
- Monitor material losses, damages, and discrepancies.
- Maintain documentation for material traceability and accountability.
- Support logistics planning and transportation coordination.
- Ensure compliance with company inventory control procedures and project requirements.
- Generate inventory, utilization, and forecast reports for management review.
Qualification Requirements
- Minimum HND in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Logistics, Warehouse Management, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years experience in inventory control, logistics, materials management, or supply chain operations.
- Experience in mining, construction, infrastructure, or power projects preferred.
- Proficiency in inventory management systems and ERP software.

- Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.
- Attention to detail and accountability.
General Requirements
- Experience working on high-voltage transmission and substation projects (161kV or above preferred).
- Strong knowledge of utility standards, engineering codes, and regulatory requirements.
- Ability to work in multidisciplinary teams and remote project locations.
- Strong communication, reporting, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant engineering/project management software.
- Commitment to quality, safety, environmental stewardship, and ethical conduct.
- Ability to work under demanding schedules while maintaining high professional standards.
