Job Title: Manager (Pharmacy)
Job SummaryThe Pharmacy Manager will be responsible for overseeing the overall operations, administration, and staff management of the pharmacy to ensure efficient service delivery and business performance. The role involves supervising employees, coordinating daily activities, maintaining operational standards, ensuring excellent customer service, managing administrative functions, and supporting the achievement of the pharmacy's strategic and financial objectives. The ideal candidate should be a committed, hardworking, and proactive leader with strong organizational, communication, and people-management skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the pharmacy and ensure efficient service delivery.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of all staff members.
- Oversee staff attendance, scheduling, performance management, and workplace discipline.
- Support recruitment, onboarding, and training of employees.
- Ensure excellent customer service and promptly address customer concerns.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate stock management activities.
- Liaise with suppliers and other stakeholders to ensure uninterrupted operations.
- Maintain accurate administrative records and prepare periodic reports.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, pharmacy regulations, and relevant statutory requirements.
- Monitor operational expenses and support cost-control measures.
- Implement systems and processes to improve efficiency, productivity, and overall business performance.
- Foster a positive, professional, and productive work environment.
- Perform any other duties assigned by management in support of the pharmacy's objectives.
Requirements
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or HND in Business Administration, Management, Human Resource Management, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in a managerial or supervisory role.
- Experience in a pharmacy, healthcare, retail, or related environment is an added advantage.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and accountability.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple responsibilities effectively.

Benefits
