Laundry Supervisor

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of laundry staff to ensure smooth daily operations
• Ensure all linen, uniforms, and guest laundry are cleaned, pressed, and delivered according to established standards
• Monitor quality control to ensure cleanliness, proper handling, and presentation of items
• Schedule staff shifts and assign duties based on workload and operational needs
• Train, coach, and evaluate laundry staff to maintain high performance levels
• Maintain accurate records of laundry operations, including inventory, usage, and damages
• Ensure proper use and maintenance of laundry equipment (washers, dryers, pressing machines, etc.)
• Report and coordinate repairs for faulty equipment to minimize downtime
• Manage inventory of detergents, chemicals, and other supplies
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards at all times
• Handle guest or internal complaints related to laundry services promptly and professionally
• Implement cost-control measures to reduce waste and improve efficiency 

Key Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Hospitality Management, Housekeeping, or related field
• Minimum of 2–4 years’ experience in laundry operations, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role
• Strong knowledge of laundry processes, fabric care, and stain removal techniques
• Familiarity with laundry equipment and chemical handling procedures
• Good leadership and team management skills
• Strong attention to detail and quality control
• Good organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Basic computer skills (for reporting and inventory tracking)
