Role Description The Junior Stores Officer is a full-time, on-site role based in Accra, responsible for supporting the efficient management of restaurant stock and supplies. Day-to-day tasks include receiving and checking deliveries, updating stock records, organizing storage areas, and assisting with routine stock counts. The role involves preparing and processing basic purchase requests, monitoring stock levels, and promptly reporting discrepancies or shortages to senior staff. The Junior Stores Officer collaborates with kitchen and service teams to ensure timely availability of ingredients and materials, follows safety and hygiene standards, and maintains accurate documentation for audits and internal controls.
Qualifications

• Ability to effectively manage Stock Control and Inventory Control processes.
• Skills in Stock Management and Inventory Management to ensure accurate tracking and organization of items.
• Capability to handle Purchase Orders, including preparing, updating, and coordinating with suppliers.
• Basic knowledge of storekeeping or warehouse operations, preferably in hospitality or food service.
• Strong attention to detail, numeracy skills, and ability to work with inventory software or spreadsheets.
• Good communication skills and ability to collaborate with kitchen, purchasing, and management teams.
• Ability to work on-site in Accra, manage physical tasks such as lifting and organizing stock, and follow safety and hygiene protocols.
• Senior high school diploma or equivalent required; vocational or tertiary training in supply chain, logistics, or related field is an advantage.
